Dean is the mastermind of the hugely popular Project: Rooftop, a “superhero fashion site.” Earlier this year, he created the popular photo series Barack Obama Looking at Awesome Things which is amazingly self-explanatory (and awesome). Dean is passionate about comics as a storytelling medium, and uses his Tumblr blog to share his work and the work he loves. “Comics can tell absolutely any kind of story, but is also the birthplace of the current best iteration of the hero myths mankind has told itself since the beginning of time, the superhero,” he says.
